Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, and Baidu search
Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, and Baidu now have search endpoints on the Autom API, with the same result shape as Google, Bing, and Brave. A client that already reads organic results can call these three without a new parser.
| Engine | Path |
|---|---|
| Yahoo | /v1/yahoo/search |
| DuckDuckGo | /v1/duckduckgo/search |
| Baidu | /v1/baidu/search |
GET and POST both work. The host is https://api.autom.dev.
Each call takes query and page. gl and hl default to us and en when you leave them out. An empty query returns 400. A page with no results returns 404.
Baidu does not filter by country. gl comes back in search_parameters and is not sent to Baidu. hl defaults to en. zh asks for simplified Chinese and zh-tw for traditional. Any other code, including en, asks Baidu for all languages.
